Andrea de Chirico (b. Rome, 1990) is an Italian designer whose work is deeply rooted in contextual research and material authenticity.

After graduating from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2015, Andrea founded his studio, SUPERLOCAL, with the aim of creating furniture and objects that combine innovation, sustainability, and craftsmanship.

Every ADC project begins with an in-depth exploration of local material culture, waste streams, and manufacturing practices, with the goal of producing bespoke pieces that are not only visually captivating but also environmentally responsible. The use of recycled materials and collaboration with local manufacturers are central to the studio, which strives to reduce environmental impact and honor artisanal heritage.

ADC has worked with notable clients, including IKEA Italia, The Design Museum, BMW, and Triennale Milano, creating designs that merge tradition with modernity. Since 2016, Andrea has taught at renowned academies like IED Torino, NABA Milano, and Beaux-Arts de Marseille.

Andrea de Chirico is a key figure in sustainable design, continuously blending innovation with tradition to offer solutions that respect the environment and empower local communities.
